Headquartered in Tempe, Arizona, ASRC Industrial (AIS) is a people-centric organization that has grown quickly to become a leading provider of industrial, construction and environmental services throughout the United States and select international locations. Unified by Purpose, the ASRC Industrial family includes a collective of exceptional operating companies that comprise more than 250 years of operations and are aligned by a shared enterprise purpose – to leave things better than we found them.
The AIS family provides a variety of safe innovative solutions spanning from specialty craft services including painting, insulation and scaffolding to industrial cleaning, specialty demolition and dismantlement, environmental remediation and emergency response to professional services including program management, characterization, long term stewardship and non-destructive testing. We serve clients across the industrial services spectrum including power generation, pulp and paper, agriculture/food, petrochemical, technology, and federal agencies. Our suite of services is delivered by our operating companies in both maintenance and new construction environments.
ASRC Industrial is wholly owned by Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC), an Alaska Native Corporation (ANC). By virtue of ASRC ownership, the AIS family is eligible to participate in the SBA 8(a) Disadvantaged Business Program and the Department of Transportation Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program. Additionally, all AIS companies are considered Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB) when subcontracting with a prime contractor on a federal procurement. These attributes allow us to partner with clients to meet their diversity contracting goals without requiring them to assume additional performance risk and concurrently provide benefits for the over 13,000 Iñupiat owners of ASRC.
Our parent company, ASRC, was established in 1972 when the United States Congress passed the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA), which settled claims made by Alaska Natives. ASRC represents over 13,000 Iñupiat and works toward enhancing Iñupiat cultural and economic freedoms. Today, through expansion and diversification, ASRC and its family of companies operate six diverse major business segments: government services, energy support services, industrial services, petroleum refining and marketing, construction, and resource development.
